Another Gym Clown Exercise – Slamming a Ball against the Floor

Trainers who have their clients slam a ball against the floor should be euthanized.  Slamming a ball against the floor not only annoys everyone in the gym, it accomplishes absolutely NOTHING!  The effort of raising a 6 pound ball overhead and slamming it to the floor is less effective than a gentle sneeze.  I bet these same folks think that raising a telephone to their ear builds large biceps.  An effective alternative exercise would be to lie on your back and conduct pullovers with a challenging weight – explosively if you like.
