Bettering Performance and Body Composition with Age

One’s performance and body composition are affected by age, but they are more greatly determined by diet and correct exercise, and this has proven true over the course of my life.  I have always kept track of my sprint times, my pull-ups, pushups, body composition and diet – for 29 years.  I worked out much harder in my twenties, sometimes three hours per day, but my body composition is better now because my diet is much better.  And I can run a faster hundred now because I moved beyond gym machines to incorporate ply metrics and other weighted and explosive exercises.  I got scientific.  Don’t dupe yourself with the – I’m getting old mentality.  Anyone at any age can improve their composition and performance.
