Correct flossing is not a debris sweep; it’s about polishing the entire circumference of the tooth and stimulating the entire gum line. One should wrap the floss around the tooth in a horseshoe, work it up and down into the gum and slowly rotate the horseshoe to the front and rear of the tooth. Then work the tooth from the other side. The entire tooth should get polished in the process – and the entire gum line should get stimulated – not just the sides of the tooth. Take care of your teeth. They don’t rejuvenate themselves.
