Measuring Your Progress

Many people judge progress by scale weight, especially women, but scale weight is very misleading.  Scale weight varies with water retention, movements, etc.  One should actually gain weight if moving in the right direction – by losing fat and gaining muscle.  I recommend throwing your scale in the trash and gaging your progress by belt size.  The belt never lies.  The mirror never lies.  And those old Levi’s won’t lie.
