What Is Aging?

Aging is what happens to us throughout the course of our lives – it’s not an exclusively predetermined rate of cellular decay.  Cells do have a predetermined number of replications, but the longevity and performance of cells can be enhanced through a nutrient rich diet, exercise and optimal hormones.  Conversely, stress, smoking, malnutrition, substance abuse and lack of hydration will accelerate the demise of cells.  The question we need to be asking ourselves:  Are we supporting our cellular longevity – or killing it?
